This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Alberoz Group Private Limited (brand: Albero Technologies) uses on this website, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can control them, on this website, inside our product web apps, and in our iOS and Android apps. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. We also use similar technologies — such as your browser’s local storage and tracking pixels — and refer to all of them as “cookies” in this Policy.
Cookies set by this site are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by a service we embed, such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel, are third-party cookies, and those providers can read them across other sites they operate on.
2. Your Choice and How We Ask for It
Because we use advertising and measurement technologies, we ask for your consent through an interactive banner rather than a notice-only message. Until you make a choice, no analytics or marketing cookie is set and no third-party tag is loaded— only the strictly necessary storage in the table below is used.
- Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting — both are a single click in the banner, with no pre-ticked boxes;
- You can allow analytics and marketing categories independently using “Customise”;
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via , also linked in the footer of every page;
- Your decision is stored with a timestamp and a consent reference so we can demonstrate the choice you made;
- If we materially change how we use cookies, we will ask you again.
3. Categories We Use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work and to record your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off, and they do not track you across other websites.
- Analytics. Help us understand which pages are used and where visitors run into problems, in aggregate. Loaded only with your consent.
- Marketing. Measure whether our advertising works and attribute enquiries to campaigns. Loaded only with your consent.

Cookie names used by third parties can change as those providers update their products. We review this list when we change our tags, and you can always inspect what is actually stored using your browser’s developer tools.

These providers may use the data they collect for their own purposes, as described in their policies. We also use the Meta Conversions API, which sends conversion events from our server with identifiers hashed before transmission; it runs only where you have accepted marketing cookies.
6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Beyond our banner, you can control cookies directly in your browser — including blocking third-party cookies entirely or deleting what is already stored:
On mobile, you can also limit ad tracking in your device settings — “Allow Apps to Request to Track” on iOS, or “Ads” under Privacy on Android. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the site from working, including our ability to remember that you declined cookies.
7. Inside Our Product Web Apps
Once you sign in to an Albero product in a browser (Albero CRM, LMS, HRM, PMS, BI, Support or the Labs teacher dashboard), the workspace uses only strictly necessary storage. These are not covered by the website banner, because the product cannot work without them:

No analytics or advertising cookies are set inside a product workspace, and the website’s analytics and marketing tags are not loaded there. An institute’s public academy on Albero LMS may use its own analytics if the institute adds it; that institute’s cookie notice then applies.
8. Mobile Apps and Similar Technologies
Our iOS and Android apps do not use cookies. They do use storage on your device and a small number of software development kits (SDKs), which are the mobile equivalent of the technologies above:

The apps contain no advertising SDKs, do not access the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or the Google Advertising ID, and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, so they never show Apple’s “Allow to track” prompt. Links you open from an app in your browser are covered by the website sections of this Policy. Section 9 of our Privacy Policy describes the apps’ data handling in full.
9. Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because no common standard exists for how sites should interpret them. Our cookie banner gives you equivalent and more granular control. Where our advertising partners support the Global Privacy Control signal, we honour it.
10. Changes and Contact
We update this Policy when we add, remove, or change the cookies we use. The revised version is posted here with a new “Last updated” date, and where a change is material we will ask for your consent choices again.
