Albero Labs teacher app on a phone: today’s lab session, attendance and the build checklist

Hands-on from the first session: students build circuits, robots and AI projects themselves.

Why most school labs end up locked

Kits without a plan

A box of boards arrives, nobody has a lesson sequence for it, and it goes back in the cupboard after one term.

One teacher who knows how

The lab depends on a single enthusiast. When they move schools, the lab stops.

Nobody to call when it breaks

A failed board or a jammed printer waits weeks for a fix, and classes are cancelled meanwhile.

One purchase covers the room, the lessons and the people

Hardware, curriculum, training and a year of support are delivered together. Nothing on this list is sold separately.

Equipment

Industry-standard boards and tools, chosen to survive a classroom.

5 modules

Computing boards

Raspberry Pi, Arduino and ESP32 stations, quantity per your lab size.

Robotics kits

Wheeled robots and robotic arms that students assemble themselves.

IoT & sensors

A pack of 40+ sensors and actuators for connected projects.

3D printing

An enclosed FDM printer with filament stock, on FutureTech and above.

Electronics bench

Breadboards, meters and a soldering station for real circuit work.

Curriculum & software

A lesson sequence, so the lab is used every week, not on open days.

6 modules

Lesson plans by grade

Mapped to NCERT science, mathematics and computer science outcomes.

Coding track

Block coding, then Python, MicroPython and C++ for embedded boards.

AI & ML module

Image classification and simple language models, trained and run on the Raspberry Pi.

Design & CAD

Tinkercad and Fusion 360 for parts students then print.

Teacher dashboard

Each student’s completed modules and submitted projects in one place.

Competition track

Preparation for ATL Marathon, Smart India Hackathon and state robotics olympiads.

Setup & support

The parts that decide whether a lab is still running in year two.

5 modules

Installation

Our engineers deliver, install, network and test every station.

Teacher certification

A three-day hands-on workshop. No electronics or coding background needed.

School relationship manager

One named person for the academic year.

Warranty & on-site response

One-year warranty on all equipment, with on-site response within 48 hours.

Annual refresh

Curriculum updates and a refresher workshop for teachers each year.

What the lab looks like in use

Curriculum planner showing modules by grade, from electronics basics to AI projects

A lesson sequence from first circuit to AI project

  • Foundation and safety first, then electronics, robotics, programming, AI and IoT.
  • Each module lists its grade band, periods needed and the learning outcomes it maps to.
  • Capstone projects chosen by students in the senior grades.

Software screens show illustrative sample data. Photographs are library images until we publish ones from schools we have equipped.

Albero Labs teacher app on a phone: today’s lab session, attendance and the build checklist

Teacher and student app in development

The lab register and lesson plan on a phone

We are building an app for lab teachers and students to go with the dashboard.

  • Today’s session, its lesson plan and its equipment checklist.
  • Attendance and project check-offs, marked at the bench.
  • Students photograph their builds and submit them to the teacher.
  • Raise an equipment fault with a photo, straight to our support team.

Until the app is released, the teacher dashboard works in the browser on any phone or tablet. Release dates will be shared with partner schools first.

Who does what, before and after the lab opens

We handle the technical work. The school provides the room, the timetable and the teachers.

School management

Approves the proposal, provides the room and assigns lab teachers.

Lab teachers

Run the weekly sessions using the lesson plans, after certification.

Students

Build, code and present projects, and earn module certificates.

Albero

Supplies, installs, trains, maintains and refreshes the curriculum.

Safety, warranty and support

What every package includes, and what we ask the school to provide.

Safety first

The curriculum opens with safe lab practice, and soldering is done only at the supervised bench.

Enclosed 3D printer

The printer ships with a safety enclosure, and filament storage guidance for the room.

One-year warranty

All equipment is covered for a year from installation, repaired or replaced at no cost.

48-hour on-site response

A reported hardware fault gets an engineer on site within 48 hours on working days.

Secure storage

We specify a lockable cabinet so kits are counted in and out of every session.

Procurement paperwork

GST invoices and the documents schools need for purchase orders, trust approvals and grant claims.

What the school provides

Confirmed on the free site visit before any proposal is sent.

  • A room of at least 20 ft × 15 ft
  • 8 to 12 power outlets
  • Wi-Fi of 25 Mbps or more in the lab
  • At least two teachers assigned to the lab
  • A lockable cabinet for equipment
  • Ventilation (air conditioning preferred, not required)

Questions people ask before they sign

Including the ones where the honest answer is “not yet”.

ScopeWhat exactly is included?

Equipment, installation, the curriculum and teacher dashboard, the three-day teacher certification and a year of warranty and support. The package list in your proposal is the full list.

TeachersDo our teachers need a technical background?

No. The certification workshop is written for teachers with no electronics or coding experience, and we run the first student session with them.

GradesWhich grades is it for?

Grades 3 to 8 on Starter Lab, and 3 to 12 on FutureTech Lab and Innovation Center, with senior modules covering AI, IoT and competition preparation.

BoardIs the curriculum aligned with NCERT and CBSE?
